The dictator Kagame at UN
Why has the UN ignored its own report about the massacres of Hutu refugees in DRC ?
The UN has ignored its own reports, NGOs and media reports about the massacres of hundreds of thousands of Hutu in DRC Congo (estimated to be more than 400,000) by Kagame when he attacked Hutu refugee camps in Eastern DRC in 1996. This barbaric killings and human rights violations were perpetrated by Kagame’s RPF with the approval of UK and USA and with sympathetic understanding and knowledge of UNHCR and international NGOs which were operating in the refugees camps. According to the UN, NGO and media reports between 1993 and 2003 women and girls were raped. Men slaughtered. Refugees killed with machetes and sticks. The attacks of refugees also prevented humanitarian organisations to help many other refugees and were forced to die from cholera and other diseases. Other refugees who tried to return to Rwanda where killed on their way by RFI and did not reach their homes. No media, no UNHCR, no NGO were there to witness these massacres. When Kagame plans to kill, he makes sure no NGO and no media are prevent. Kagame always kills at night.

Comments about UK’s press and events on Rwanda genocide
I would like to comment on this article below. For security reasons I do not want my comment to be published. I hope that my comment will remind you to report accurately about the stories that you want to publish in the Guardian. The article should be deleted from the Guardian system because it is inaccurate. Thank you for reading.

You wrote:
“A more widely accepted version is that it was Hutu extremists who killed Habyarimana prior to seizing power and overseeing the genocide”
I do not think that this statement is correct. What evidence do you have to write this ?
You wrote:
“Other investigations have concluded that Hutu extremists were responsible for the assassination because they moved swiftly to seize power and instigate the genocide. Much of the Hutu leadership of the time is on trial before an international tribunal. Several trials have concluded that the genocide was a conspiracy by the Hutu government.”.
Which investigations are you are referring to? . Who carried out these investigations?. Where are the reports of these investigations? You do not even mention one of them just for reference.
Yu wrote:
The two-year investigation also accused French forces in Rwanda of crimes against humanity and of using a UN-sanctioned haven for refugees to help those responsible for the 100 days of mass slaughter to escape justice.
This flawed investigation did not last 2 years. Just make the necessary versifications .

The timing of Kabuye's decision to face trial may also have been influenced by the upheaval in RDC. Rwanda is under pressure over its ties to the Tutsi rebel leader, Laurent Nkunda, who has been accused of war crimes as he seized swathes of eastern Congo in recent weeks. France has been particularly vocal in its criticism and in proposing European military intervention.
What evidence do you have to link your story with diplomatic efforts to solve the Congo ‘s crisis. The UK was also involved in these diplomatic efforts. UK also was supportive of the EU and French proposal
Thank you for reading my comment.

Reconciliation in Rwanda will only happen when all Rwandans who were involved in organising, planning and executing crimes that triggered the genocide are brought to justice. Until now only one side of the Rwandan communities ( the Hutu) have been brought to justice. In Rwanda there are extremists and criminals in both communities. It is time to end the impunity in both communities. We very much appreciate the action taken by the Germans to bring to justice that person. It is believed that Tutsi criminals indicted by the French and the Spanish are walking free in the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom has refused so far to implement the arrests warrants issued by the French and the Spanish. They visit the country at any time they wish to do so. I DO THINK THAT THIS IS A TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION PROCESS THAT WILL START SOON FROM FRANCE.
By the way , why the Rwandan government has never commissioned an external independent Commission to establish who was involved in the shooting of the Presidential plane that was carrying two Presidents. Why he did make a request to the UN and the International Aviation Organisation to support this investigation. This is an issue that will never go a way if a proper investigation is not carried out. The Kagame ‘s strategy of blaming the French and the International Community will not work. It has already failed. The truth and reconciliation are coming to Rwanda. God bless Rwanda.
The French soldiers are courageous. They went alone in Rwanda to save the lives of Tutsi. The British refused because they did not want to stop the
Kagame taking power by arms in Rwanda. The idea was that if Britain intervene then Kagame will not win the war. The British were confident that Kagame will win the war with the support of Uganda. Please remember Kagame and all RPF members were part of the Uganda’s army. Kagame was the Chief of Intelligence of Uganda’s army.
------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Organiser of the "Question Time' debates
Spotlight on Rwanda at the Royal Commonwealth Society, 11/02/09, 6.15pm
I am writing to express our concern in relation the above debate that you are planning to organise on Wednesday 11 February, 6.15 pm (www.thercs.org/events).
Our concern is that you have invited Mr. Vincent Gasara, of the Rwandan Community Organisation in the UK as a panellist while he represent a small group of Tutsi community of not more than 10 people in the UK. This organisation cannot claim to represent all Rwandans living in the UK.
There is no difference between the Rwandan Embassy in the UK and the Rwandan Community Organisation in the UK. This means that Mr Vincent Gasara will be speaking on behalf of the Rwandan Government. For their propaganda , the Rwandan government has established and sponsored such organisations in many European countries.
If you decide to maintain him on the panel, you should include in the panel another Rwandan group based in the UK which has different views from the Rwandan Community Organisation in the UK, to insure the diversity of views about the topic to be discussed. Furthermore, Mr Vincent Gasara cannot discuss human rights issues in Rwanda because he was involved in organising mass Hutu civilian killings in Rwanda during the RPF’s war.
If you not take into account our concerns, we will organise demonstrations at the Commonwealth Club to oppose to the participation of Vincent Gasara as panellist.
Rwanda should not join the Commonwealth for now because:
-It is not the Rwanda as Nation which is joining the Commonwealth. It is only Kagame who is joining the Commonwealth.
-Kagame is joining the Commonwealth hoping to gain protection from the British against the accusations in relation to his war crimes that he committed in Uganda, Rwanda and DRC.
-President Kagame does not allow the opposition parties to operate freely in Rwanda. No political part can be formed unless it joins the Rwandan Forum of Political Parties which is supportive to the RPF ruling party. Many foreign experts, journalists and human rights activists have never returned to Rwanda after having criticised the Kagame’s regime.
-Kagame does not allow the Hutus also to mourn their dead during the genocide. Therefore, there is no possibility of reconciliation between Hutus and Tutsis.
-Any Rwandan who speak French cannot get a job in Rwanda.
-Kagame uses the memorials of the genocide for political propaganda and for foreign financial support. These memorials contain the rests of both Hutu and Tutsi who massacred in the genocide. But, Kagame collected all of them them and labelled them as the rests of the Tutsi only. Because Kagame know where the rests of the dead were buried by RPF, he has been collecting them as the rests of Tutsi and put them in the memorials.
-Kagame does not allow the civil society and the press to work freely.
-British aid to Rwanda only benefit the Tutsi elites.
-Only two street protests have been organised by the Government against since Kagame took power.
Yours sincerely.
------------------------------
Thank you very much for your clarifications.
The British people have been too much involved in Rwandan matters through their fanatic attitudes towards Kagame regime. They support Kagame through their useless budget support which is an apartheid support in Rwanda.
Many people believe that any debate about Rwandan issues in the UK is just for supporting the Kagame regime.
Even the Shadow Secretary of State is a strong supporter of the Kagame regime. The Rwandan press has reported that he has promised Kagame more aid when the Conservatives Party win the next general elections. He said this when he was in Rwanda last July with sent 100 British people including members of the Parliament who spent 30 days claiming that they were helping Rwandan people while they were enjoying staying in Kigali’s Hotels.
I will not be able to participate or ask any question during the debate for security reasons. If you ask a question that criticises the Kagame regime, then you become an enemy of Kagame himself, or you are a 'genocidaire'.
Britain’s Conservative Party lays plans for Rwanda
The New Times, Kigali, Tuesday, 9th June 2009
Ed Hall.
BY TONY BARIGYE
Ed Hall, one of the 105 Conservative Party members in the country for voluntary capacity-building, has disclosed that his party has already included Rwanda’s funding in its fore plan.
The Party is already laying out strategies, two years away from the next general elections. Britain has already set aside 460 million pounds funding for a period of ten years starting from 2007.
“Rwanda is obviously part of our plans. But we are two years away from the election,” Hall said in an interview with The New Times. He however declined to disclose details of the plan.
However, effective implementation of the Conservative Party’s plan depends on winning the 2010 elections. It has lost the last three elections.
Hall said he was confident of a Conservative victory in the next election because of economic failures by the incumbent Labour Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.
“Gordon Brown is unpopular with the economy. The Conservatives will capitalize on that for a win,” said Hall.
Margaret Thatcher was the last Conservative PM in 1997 before she was replaced by Tony Bair who in turn was recently replaced by Gordon Brown thus perpetuating the Labour Party’s reign for a successive ten years.
According to Hall, Andrew Mitchell, MP, the shadow Minister of Development is expected to be the next Conservative PM.
“If the Conservatives win the coming election, Andrew Mitchell’s first visit will be to Rwanda. He will have 100 other Conservatives talking about Rwanda,” said a seemingly optimistic Hall.
Before Tony Blair, the Conservatives had had a comfortable reign from1979 to 1997. He explained that the Conservative party’s previous lengthy stay in power had been perceived as monotonous and that their popularity was diminished by a consistent reduction in achievements.
“Initially, the Conservatives were the backbone of the economy, the backbone of political campaigns. They were always in meetings and making things happen. But people lost sight of that,” Hall said. But he said that the Conservatives were bouncing back with better national plans.
“I hope to contest for a parliamentary seat in the coming elections. I might be against 6 candidates,” said the unmarried 40-year old.
Hall is the Chief Executive of Canis Media in England but for ten years he worked as a print journalist with the Independent tabloid in Britain.
As part of the capacity-building tour of Rwanda, Hall said he visited Rwanda Television and radio stations.
He said he was surprised with the use of old technology such as video tapes instead of files.
He was equally surprised that Rwanda’s private sector had developed despite the set-back that resulted from the 1994 Genocide of Tutsi which claimed the lives of over a million people.

-“The enemies of Freedom do not argue ; they shout and they shoot.”
The principal key root causes that lead to the Rwandan genocide of 1994 that affected all Rwandan ethnic groups were:
1)The majority Hutu community’s fear of the return of the discriminatory monarchy system that was practiced by the minority Tutsi community against the enslaved majority Hutu community for about 500 years
2)The Hutu community’s fear of Kagame’s guerrilla that committed massacres in the North of the country and other parts of the countries including assassinations of Rwandan politicians.
3) The Rwandan people felt abandoned by the international community ( who was believed to support Kagame’s guerrilla) and then decided to defend themselves with whatever means they had against the advance of Kagame’ guerrilla supported by Ugandan, Tanzanian and Ethiopian armies and other Western powers.
-“The enemies of Freedom do not argue ; they shout and they shoot.”
-“The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish.”
-“The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.”
-“I have loved justice and hated iniquity: therefore I die in exile.”
The Rwanda war of 1990-1994 had multiple dimensions.
The Rwanda war of 1990-1994 had multiple dimensions. Among Kagame’s rebels who were fighting against the Rwandan government, there were foreigners, mainly Ugandan fighters who were hired to kill and rape innocent Rwandan people in Rwanda and refugees in DRC.

SUMMARY : THE TRAGIC CONSEQUENCES OF THE BRITISH BUDGET SUPPORT AND GEO-STRATEGIC AMBITIONS
The Rwandan genocide and 6,000,000 Congolese and Hutu refugees killed are the culminating point of a long UK’s battle to expand their influence to the African Great Lakes Region. UK supported Kagame’s guerrilla war by providing military support and money. The UK refused to intervene in Rwanda during the genocide to allow Kagame to take power by military means that triggered the genocide. Kagame’s fighters and their families were on the Ugandan payroll paid by UK budget support.
· 4 Heads of State assassinated in the francophone African Great Lakes Region.
· 2,000,000 people died in Hutu and Tutsi genocides in Rwanda, Burundi and RD.Congo.
· 600,000 Hutu refugees killed in R.D.Congo, Uganda, Central African Republic and Rep of Congo.
· 6,000,000 Congolese dead.
· 8,000,000 internal displaced people in Rwanda, Burundi and DR. Congo.
· 500,000 permanent Rwandan and Burundian Hutu refugees, and Congolese refugees around the world.
· English language expansion to Rwanda to replace the French language.
· 20,000 Kagame’s fighters paid salaries from the British Budget Support from 1986 to present.
· £500,000 of British taxpayer’s money paid, so far, to Kagame and his cronies through the budget support, SWAPs, Tutsi-dominated parliament, consultancy, British and Tutsi-owned NGOs.
· Kagame has paid back the British aid received to invade Rwanda and to strengthen his political power by joining the East African Community together with Burundi, joining the Commonwealth, imposing the English Language to Rwandans to replace the French language; helping the British to establish businesses and to access to jobs in Rwanda, and to exploit minerals in D.R.Congo.

This blog reports the crimes that remain unpunished and the impunity that has generated a continuous cycle of massacres in many parts of Africa. In many cases, the perpetrators of the crimes seem to have acted in the knowledge that they would not be held to account for their actions.
The need to fight this impunity has become even clearer with the massacres and genocide in many parts of Africa and beyond.
The blog also addresses issues such as Rwanda War Crimes, Rwandan Refugee massacres in Dr Congo, genocide, African leaders’ war crimes and crimes against humanity, Africa war criminals, Africa crimes against humanity, Africa Justice.
-General Kagame has been echoing the British advice that Rwanda does not need any loan or aid from Rwandan traditional development partners, meaning that British aid is enough to solve all Rwandan problems.
-The British obsession for the English Language expansion has become a tyranny that has led to genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity, dictatorial regimes, human rights violations, mass killings, destruction of families, communities and cultures, permanent refugees and displaced persons in the African Great Lakes region.
- Rwanda, a country that is run by a corrupt clique of minority-tutsi is governed with institutional discrmination, human rights violations, dictatorship, authoritarianism and autocracy, as everybody would expect.
. BBC is the only medium which considers the report produced by a French Judge Jean-Louis Burguiere about Rwanda genocide as a controversial report. This is because the Judge made recommendations to indict President Paul Kagame over his alleged involvement in the death of the country's former leader Juvenal Habyarimana. BBC is not happy of the conclusions of the Report.
ReplyDelete3.All your news and online publications have been trying to create confusion among the public and to minimise the accuracy of the investigations carried out by the judge.
4.In what capacity BBC can assess whether or not a judge is right or wrong?
Dear BBC
ReplyDeleteAs usual, many of BBCr reports about Rwandan genocide are biased. Who was providing Kagame with arms and ammunitions to invade Rwanda from Uganda and killed Rwandan people who were living in a peaceful country. The Rwandan government that Kagame was fighting against was entitled to defend itself. ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7542418.stm), http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7542418.stm
You call the commission established by Kagame as an “independent commission”. How is it independent ? Please do not exaggerate.
You always say that “President Kagame has always denied the charge. He says Mr Habyarimana, a Hutu, was killed by Hutu extremists who then blamed the incident on Tutsi rebels to provide the pretext for the genocide.” But you never say what other people say.
Kagame do not deny of having killed the late President Habyarimana. You always say it on his behalf.
When do you think Kagame will be brought to justice for the war crimes he committed? Do you agree that Kagame committed war crimes? Yes or No.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/6181988.stm: This report shows the level of French and British rivalries in Africa, especially in Rwanda . The rivalries were denounced by her Majesty the Queen during Sarkozy ‘s State visit to UK . Unfortunately, the UK government does not listen.
During the time when the Hutu, the majority of the Rwandan population ( 85%) were on power the British Government did not provide any penny to Rwanda . There was no UK Embassy in Rwanda . The UK government had to wait until the minority of Tutsi are on power to support Rwanda people. This is double standards and discrimination against an ethic group in the UK international development sector. Rwanda has been the focus of British h government and the British people only to discrimination of Hutu people. They raise money in the UK and the money is sent to Rwanda to benefit one ethnic group.
Britain has chosen to bribe the Tutsi government which is using British taxpayer money to continue destabilise the Democratic Republic of Congo. By bribing the Kagame regime the British aim at hiding their role in the Rwanda genocide. http://www.counterp unch.org/ miller04022004. html
The BBC participated in the last campaign for presidential elections, which Kagame won after rigging the votes and cracking down potential opposition. The British Government is creating apartheid in Rwanda and another Zimbabwe .
British people when they visited Rwanda praise Kagame for having developed the capital Kigali . They never go to rural areas to see how people are dying of hunger, poverty, HIV/AIDS and other diseases. Those are the Hutu. The Rwandan government reports on their development achievements are exaggerated to get more funding from UK and other donors or to increase the image of Kagame himself.
The British taxpayer money is being using to feed the elites from Kagame crony. International media have reported that people who have been indicted by the French Judges and Spanish Judges travel to UK without any problem. Other members of Rwandan Patriotic Front claim asylum in the UK the name of Banyamurenge. This has been an easy way for Tutsi from Rwanda and Burundi to have access to UK taxpayer money while the UK government is providing millions of pounds to Rwanda which benefit the minority Tutsi.
The UK Labour Party and the Conservative Party have now moved their political battle to Rwanda where MPs from the Conservative Party have promised the Rwanda government that they have already a plan for Rwanda if they win next general elections. http://www.newtimes.co.rw/index.php?issue=13608&article=8347.
The MPs from the Conservative Party who were in Rwanda for holiday considered this as an international development activity for Rwanda .
We urge the UK government to consider helping all Rwandan population without privileging one ethnic group. The UK government should also acknowledge their role in the Rwandan genocide.
